Interior of BodyfoodA former pharmacist, Irene Spedaliere decided to create her own aromatherapy–based product line based on her experiences mixing pharmaceuticals. "Aromatherapy has preventative, natural benefits," explains the integrative aromatherapy–certified founder from her Liberty Village boutique, "so I decided to bring my pharmacist experience to create products that are good for your body and mind."

Along with custom mixing, Spedaliere also offers a variety of ready–made essential oil–infused lotions, soaps and scrubs. Ninety–five per cent of her customers however, opt to choose a custom blend geared to whatever ails them—from stress, insomnia and acne, to aching joints and muscles.

"The best thing about essential oils is that even people who have fragrance allergies can enjoy them since there are no artificial additives," Spedaliere explains. And if you can't get to a bodyFood boutique, the products can be bought online ( and delivered to your door.
