With the smartphone being an essential for most of us (even after we leave work as well as eight-plus hours on a computer screen), digital eye fatigue is a condition that’s increasingly on the rise. Manifesting as headaches, dry eyes, overall exhaustion and seeing spots in front of your eyes, it’s a harrowing phenomenon.
Doctors encourage us to practise intelligent screen time with the 20/20/20 rule:  Look away from your device every 20 minutes directly 20 feet ahead of you for at least 20 seconds. Your eyes will thank you!
