15 06 nanohybridDescription: A nanohybrid bonding agent is the latest in composite resin for building up teeth or filling in gaps.  Unlike traditional resins though, these are stronger and polish like a regular tooth.

How it’s done: The procedure is the same as composite resin, the dentist just uses a needle to apply and build up the resin on the tooth or to close the gap. However, with composite resin, the more resin used, the weaker the product. That is not the case with nanohybrid polishes.

Complications: None.

Recovery: None, since they dry instantly.

Cost: Starts at $100, depending on the number of teeth and the size of the bond.
