mini faceliftDescription: Also referred to as the lifestyle or lunchtime facelift, the mini facelift involves just the face and not the neck area, and is recommended for patients under 40 who are experiencing signs of aging on the lower parts of the face, but not the neck.

How it’s done: The skin around the chin and nose is detatched, lifted, and reattached. Some resculpting of the subcutaneous musculoaponeurotic system may be done, but it is minimal compared to a traditional facelift. The procedure takes about two to three hours.

Complications: Bleeding, hematoma, scarring, bruising, infection and loss of nerve sensation (but this is usually temporary) can occur.

Recovery: One week.

Cost: $8,000 to $14,000
