Dr. Oz is now a household name: seemingly endorsing a wide variety of supplements and weight loss products, his face and personal branding are all over the internet. Many companies have used his name without permission, making it difficult for us as customers to rely on any endorsed products. From his Whole-Body Anti-Aging Guide 2014 (see it here), here are three of the best anti-aging tricks:

1) Vitamin B3

Listed as niacinamide on cosmetic labels, this powerful vitamin packs a punch. Vitamin B3 is a natural anti-inflammatory and plumps the skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by increasing protein production, increasing elasticity to give the skin a smooth, youthful appearance. Vitamin B3 also helps skin cells by increasing capillary dilation. This allows the capillaries to carry more blood cells efficiently, delivering oxygen, hormones and nutrients around the body. Better circulation equals happier, healthier skin!

2) Bearberry Extract

Bearberry extract is known especially for its skin-brightening properties. The bearberry extract slows the production of the melanin enzyme, which reduces the appearance of dark spots. When applying as a topical cream, it can take up to six weeks to see dramatic results for your age spots—they can be tough to break down since they’ve been accumulating under the skin for a while to become noticeable.

3) Epsom Salts

Epsom salts are very popular in DIY home treatments—but did you know that they can also help you slim down? Anti-inflammatory in nature, epsom salts made of magnesium and sulphates, remove toxins, extra fluid and cellular waste from the body. Just add two cups of salts to your bath, and soak for 10 minutes to reap the rewards of these healing crystals. You can never not benefit from detoxifying the body and Epsom salts can also be used as a quick-fix to rid of pesky bloating.
