Best known for her role in the hit television series Modern Family, Sofia Vergara is an absolute bombshell, with a vivacious personality to match.

SMILE
When I mentioned to a colleague that I had been asked to do a dental review of Vergara’s teeth, he responded in typical male fashion: “She has teeth?”  Well to set the record straight, she does have teeth—and her smile could be enhanced. Sofia has a beautiful smile with 8 to 10 porcelain veneers on her upper teeth.  New veneers would run between $13,000 and $17,000. However, Sofia’s teeth are very square and boxy, which sharply contrasts the ovoid shape of her face—they could be made softer looking. I would redo her veneers, making them more lifelike by adding some lucency and shading so that they are less opaque. I would also curve the outer edges of them to enhance their feminine aspect and give Sofia’s smile that “WOW” element.

SKIN
Vergara’s amazing skin can be achieved with treatments such as a laser peel ($350 per treatmentor fractional treatment ($300 per treatment). These types of resurfacing treatments rejuvenate the complexion, removing fine lines and impurities. Botox would help to achieve Sophia’s smoothened forehead and around the eyes. Her lips look very natural, but its a dermalfiller would give one her sublty plump and soft pout (with age our lips lose their collagen and appear smaller). Her cheekbones are naturally high, but most likely dermal fillers have been used to keep their structure (starting at $550 per syringe).

MAKEUP
To get the beautiful lip, Vergara’s makeup artist “lip-hugged” her lips, by applying a red stain and then topping it with a matte, magenta lipstick—like NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Carthage ($33, Sephora, Hudson’s Bay, Holt Renfrew, Murale). For the eyes, use a brown pencil liner to draw along the upper and lower lash line, winging it out for a cat eye effect and apply a black liner in the upper wet line. Use an espresso brown shadow from the lash line to the crease, then a taupe-camel hue from the crease upward. Finish with a cream matte shade under the brow bone. Try using a palette, like the Physician’s Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Ehancing Shadow & Liner in Natural Nude ($15.75, mass retailers). Vergarais wearing a strip of false lashes: after lashes are applied, curl with natural lashes and finish them off with a coat or two of mascara. For luxurious, natural-looking lashes, try LASHLAB strip lash in Pony ($32 per pair, lash-lab.com andbeautymark.ca).
